When Sarah first contacted The Event Refinery over a year ago, we had no idea our kids went to the same school – let alone that, as we later found out, my daughter and her son were in the same class!

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, what a damn magical day for these two cool humans. It was so fun being by your side throughout the wedding planning process Mr & Mrs Carter, biggest congratulations x

(and at least I don’t have to ‘break up’ with you like I do many couples haha! See you at school tomorrow 😆) x

Mr + Mrs Dogra 🖤

One week ago today our gorgeous Michelle + Kanav married at the stunning and what a dreeeamy day it was. From on the harp (organised as a secret surprise by Michelle and oh so magical!), .ace.nz on the decks, a selfie mirror, sip n solve crossword + champagne tower to delicious food and drink and an incredible cake made lovingly by the couples talented friend!

We absolutely adore bringing elements of our couples culture in to their Kiwi weddings. Adam + Tiff held a traditional Thai Water Blessing ceremony where water was poured over their hands from a conch shell, symbolising their union and receiving blessings from guests. Such a special way to kick off the day ✨🐚🤎
