The gardens are losing their colour, but there's plenty of it preserved in the potting shed! We have an abundance of beautiful dried flowers hanging and in vases. The Potting Shed is a part of our garden tour, enquire for an appointment at [email protected].

As the leaves start to fall, and the days become shorter, we are nearing the end of the 2023-2024 Garden tour season here at Broadoak. It has been a pleasure to host a record number of both tours and events this season.

There's an abundance of fruit at Broadoak and we are hard at work processing it all. Shaun and Hannah have both Pear and Apple Cider on the go. Jane is soon to make a batch of Plum wine. Delicious!

The potager vegetable garden at Broadoak has had a makeover! The birds really go to town during the summer so we decided to enclose the space and we are so pleased with the result. This large vegetable garden feeds owner's Shaun and Claire's family the whole year through. This is one of the features you are taken through when touring Broadoak Gardens. We had the pleasure of commissioning talented local artist, Lisa Babcock, to bring to life a breathtaking watercolour map of Broadoak Gardens. Not only is this a beautiful work of art, but it's also a true-to-scale representation of our property. Now, you can embark on self-guided garden tours armed with this incredible depiction. At the centre of Broadoak is a 2-acre formal wedding garden. Developed from a commercial peony paddock six years ago, the entire area is enclosed by a 3-metre-high wall of hedging between twenty brick pillars adorned by gargoyles giving the feel of a walled garden. Make use of the space for your wedding photos to really capture some unique images of your special day!

The 'Bike n Bovine' is a very special cocktail hour or reception venue at Broadoak Gardens. This traditional english pub is a perfect location for your guests to mix and mingle, share a drink and light snack whilst waiting to be called on to join a wedding photo session. It can then seat 50 guests formally or 80 guests casually for your wedding reception.

If you meander through Broadoak Gardens you'll come across our art trail! Including sculptures from local artists Llew Summers, Jane Downes and Tony O'Grady, among others.

Autumn has well and truly arrived at Broadoak. As we prepare for a cold and wet winter we are looking back and remembering our first full wedding season. It was a blast! September 2023- March 2024 is filling fast but if you have some flexibility with dates feel free to get in touch to see if we can accommodate your special day.
