Looks like it's now a birthday operation on Tuesday now. 4th time lucky.

So no action even though i was wearing a backless gown, the operation has been called off for second time due to more acute stroke patients..again. Must be something in the water but i feel for those people worse off than me. Hopefully 3rd time lucky on Thursday.

It's been 2 years since I last dj'd when my hearing went kamikaze, then my eye. Losing music has been rough mentally. I have not posted much or even been out much because nothing was changing, just getting steadily worse, and i do apologize for dropping off the radar, that isn't me really. This photo is the worst I think I have been a couple of weekends ago,but all that changes tomorrow. Surgery in the avo then the rest of life to flow, not living day to day. I can only be positive. Thanks to my gorgeous wife Wendy Mackay and our wee man Coby who made the day to day loveable and liveable, and family and friends who kept me sane (as sane as I get). If you are against the wall surround yourself with good people focus on the little things that you can control, give away what you cant. Prayers go up like flares.

Been a while family. Good vibrations? I will know soon, went in for MRI today which will hopefully tell me why there is no bass in my drum and bass and why treble is echoing in my left ear. They did actual put some d and b on for me while I was in there bless'em

It has literally all gone Pete Tong. So 5 weeks ago I had total loss of bass in my left ear and the treble was echoing. This happened on a menial Thursday unexpectedly. It has not improved remarkedly which is why I have been on the d/l. On meeting with ent specialist he has said my brain will most likely adjust to it but i need to have a scan in the very near future. I am on steroids to see if that makes a difference but no dice as yet. Please enjoy your music, enjoy your friends and loved ones, enjoy music and take advantage of djs that reside or come to Nelson as we don't know what changes can come upon us. In the mean time I refuse to let this take away my love for music, or for taking people who love music on a mystical journey to change the moment, our moment. But if the bass is a little loud and you think you are close to having a vom, tap me on the shoulder and I will happily adjust the dial. Thanks to my beautiful Wendy woo who always supports me and Jezza and Bex who do not give up and all of you... the faithful.
