I had the honour of photographing Julie last night, breast cancer survivor. Having met over a year ago, we have caught up for coffee and shared stories of life and the trauma of beating cancer. Yesterday was the day she allowed me to create her story of darkness, despair, unimaginable pain, her expression thorough tattoo art and her emergence to the other side, releasing and inviting in hope for her new future. It was closing in dark when I took this photo and I absolutely love the darkness surrounding her. It’s my new favourite.

Just delivered this very special wedding gallery to Mikayla and Carson. It poured with rain on their actual wedding day, dashing hopes of picturesque photos with their horses. So we recreated it last week and what a glorious evening it was!

I've been in the Philippines the past 9 days photographing One World Music performers at the Philippines Hot Air Balloon Fiesta. What a heart centred nation! I was surrounded by a brilliant team of performers, musicians, organisers and events management and was looked after incredibly well. Thank you to my good friend Clinton Mann for making this happen, and to the incredible performers and people I photographed - Love Maria, Danny Denniss, DJ Ayel (PH), DJ Deon, Smiley Lucylu Xavier, RocketBoodie. What a great team you all are.

Photographing Humans & Animals

I’m an artistic photographer specialising in humans and their animals, in the form of weddings, lifestyle, equine and portraitures for women. I have over 10 years experience and I am humbled to have had my work published in magazines and featured on websites around Australasia.

I also offer Personal Branding sessions, incorporating short video with product and branding photography.

I've been described as quirky, free spirited and heart warming, with a calming presence. I seem to have the ability to help others feel at ease and good about themselves. Because I feel energised being in nature, my sessions are often held outdoors in some stunning environments and backdrops. Though I can capture the beauty of a classic posed portrait, I enjoy bringing movement and freedom into the images for the families I photograph.
