We're Back! A HUGE thank you to all of our fabulous customers for understanding the need for some time out. The phone will be back on from 10am tomorrow and all back orders will be dispatched or ready to collect from tomorrow afternoon.
I've added one of my photos from Portofino, just to add a lil sunshine, I hear the weather hasn't been great in NZ, hopefully more sunshine is to come now we're in Spring...YAY!!!! 😍🏖😎🌹

Sooo, it looks like it's another 'after school holidays' meme time...
We've taken phone calls and read emails before we even start work today. A lot are from parents that have left organising their child's birthday until the last day because, hey they've had school holidays.
This is not our fault. Let me write that again...This is not our fault.
We wont take aggression via email or phone calls, because you are running late.
You're not alone, judging by the amount of orders placed over the weekend, there's dozens that are also doing the same.
So, before you bash out that email, or send a 2nd email because the first one you wrote late on Sunday night hasn't yet been answered, take a breath, have a coffee (or wine, whatever floats your boat at 9am on a Monday) and consider being nice! I guarantee it will get you alot further today!
I simply wont stand by and let you take your frustration out on us.

For the record, I was still working at 11pm last night, to make our Monday easier for everyone!
So....be nice!

The humidity is so high today, it's best to leave your edible image air tight until the moment you need to add it to your cake! If you have a dehumidifier or air con, even better!
Also, not gonna lie, this image is 'actual footage' of my hair right now after visiting the pick up box!! 🤣

Apologies for the delay, we had Downey here until very very late for a massive water blockage caused by thousands of baby wipes further up our street…seriously, who does this? Every person with half a brain cell knows baby wipes don’t break down and are a huge environmental disaster!

When you apparently don’t have enough spinal fluid to make good decisions and you print 200 instructions from 1985 (ok, mildly exaggerated), what do you do? You do stickers!!
thank goodness they’re nearly all used up, but for those that have received orders in the last few days, here’s your bonus sticker for your ROUND image!!

Seeing as this pops up several times a month, let's talk about Eero..
Eero is a mesh internet system that appears to hate NZ small businesses, Mercury even have a page dedicated to fixing this issue, rather than actually fixing the issue themselves!
Here's the link that Eero customers need, in order to be able to access small business websites (as if life isn't hard enough already!)

Soooo, my planned surgery didn't go as planned (see what i did there? 🤣) The surgeon accidentally cut into my spinal cord fluid. You think you've had headaches before, absolutely nothing compares to a SCF leak headache! Anyway, I'm slowly getting back into a vertical position again and I figured i may as well clear some of the backlog of orders, seeing as I cant do much! So if you need anything urgent, just shout out, or place your order via the website. Oh and Happy New Year!!! 😁

Sooo, i rarely post anything personal, our focus is always about our customers and their amazing work, or a fab new product.
But today appears to have brought out the worst in people and to be honest, I've had enough.
We will always go out of our way to help you, wherever we can. You've forgotten your child's cake? We will work late to help you. Another overseas supplier has let you down? Again, we will be happy to help you create something awesome.
You can choose how you talk to other people. Shouting at us because you've forgotten your child's birthday this weekend, or you've written your email incorrectly and didn't get the tracking? none of this is our fault, and yet....we will still help you.
You have no idea what another person maybe dealing with, so please, choose to make your first instinct the right one, and be kind.
