I LOVE trying different techniques - so here’s a run down on some rose petal pretties that you’ll see quite often in my designs 😉

🌹 The first photo is of a rose au natural…. Untouched, natural beauty

🌹 Followed by a ‘Reflexed’ rose - this technique has been around for a few years now

🌹 And my latest obsession is the ‘Petal twist’ - gentle steady hands for this one!!

Farewell florals straight from the heart 🤍 Roses (including old fashioned garden roses), anemones, hellebore, stock, hyacinth, paperwhites, gypsophila, matricaria, sweet william and phlox.

On Sunday afternoon I wandered through June’s garden … look closely and you’ll see the crabapples, camellia blooms, succulents, ivy strands, hydrangea, honesty pods and the last few blooms of her burgundy iceberg rose.

Rest peacefully Mrs Ferguson knowing how much of a treasure you are to so many xx

Photo Flashback to my graduation from the Bay of Plenty Polytechnic! After a year of study, I was awarded my Certificate in Floristry (with Distinction), Diploma in Interflora Procedures and top Design Fundamentals student for that year.

It’s important to look back (and celebrate!!) your successes xx

🌟TE AWAMUTU COLLEGE BALL - We are now FULLY BOOKED 🌟

Hey Lovelies,

Thank you so much for your ball flower orders for this Saturday! We have now reached full capacity (a very difficult decision to make as we really wanted to help every one of you!!).

Our studio will be open Saturday 9am - 12 noon for Ōtorohanga pick ups, and The Birdcage for Te Awamutu collections from late morning. Please respect their closing time of 3pm on Saturday xx

And now the long hours start for us as we create you something extra special for your big night 🤍
