2024 what a year 🤍✨ So incredibly grateful to all the wonderful couples who have trusted me to design for them this year. Also so honoured to work alongside so many talented, generous & kind Christchurch wedding vendors. Huge thank you to all the amazing floral growers here in Canterbury! And finally to my fabulous freelancers who helped me to create floral magic this year. 20 photos and 20 tags is no where near enough to capture this year or to mention you all those who have shared in our year but know I am so grateful to work alongside you all. I had the best time creating these ceremony florals for Kim & Cohen’s wedding. ⠀ ⠀ I used sustainable floristry techniques so these designs are 100% floral foam free. At the end of the evening we carefully dismantled the florals and the following morning I redesigned them into bouquets. The bride and groom then gifted these to friends and family. Although it requires a bit more time and effort it made me really happy to see the beautiful florals enjoyed a little longer. ⠀ ⠀ I have spent a lot of time learning about sustainable floristry and I am continually learning, updating and improving my techniques to be as earth friendly as I can be. Reducing waste, reusing, composting and recycling are equally as important to me as creating beautiful, unique and inspiring designs🧡
