Time to introduce our pole judge!

Natasha Thomas 🥳

Natasha is no stranger to the pole world. She began her pole journey in 2008 and took to pole like dryhands to sweaty palms, finding her true love in instructing and subsequently setting up Limitless Studio, a successful multi-disciplined circus and dance studio in Auckland.

As a busy business owner and teacher, she loves seeing people grow and find empowerment from movement.

She especially enjoys working in the background to nurture and create opportunities for folks who want to step outside their comfort zone, develop and expand their skills in performance no matter what level they are at. This year Natasha is directing and running a semi-professional programme and production, creating a platform for developing artists working towards excellence.

Natasha is intimately familiar with NZAPP. She provides guidance for students in choreographing their performances, has attended many NZAPP heats & finals as well as performed in past years.
Furthermore, she organised and ran the NZAPP Auckland heats in 2019 and 2020.
She is incredibly honoured and excited to see what folks bring to the stage!

Introducing our next Judge….
Taryn Faustman 💃🏼

Taryn began dancing at the age of 9. She is trained in many styles but specializes in Jazz and Contemporary. She attend the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Goh Ballet Academy, Pacific Dance Arts and Arts Umbrella. As a teen, she went on to win the British Columbia provincial title five years in a row and represented Canada at the prestigious “Showcase” Competition located in Australia. She has acted in many musicals.

In 2010 she began her professional career on board “Royal Caribbean” and “Holland America” Cruise lines. Moving to Sydney, where she booked her first national commercial with “Vodafone,” appeared dancing for “Samantha Jade” at the Nickelodeon Slimefest, as well as dancing in the musical “Grease” at the annual Dally M Awards.

Taryn has also been a successful choreographer and teacher as well as a personal trainer and Pilates teacher.

We are so excited to announce our MC 👌🎉 So pumped to have Katie back again to guide us through the NZAPP Hamilton Heats!

Katie in the Storm is back for another incredible day and evening of the NZAPP Hamilton regional heats.
Katie comes with 13 years of experience in the pole dance industry; be it teaching, performing, stage kittening, stage managing, producing and emceeing.
She loves to see up and coming performers show what they can do on the stage and hopes to honour them as best as possible in their passion and strength on the August 31st.
