Come down and discuss all details Utterly Marquee + Event Hire - there brand new semi-permanent marquee will be set up to see so you can visualise your perfect day!

**Pricing is valid for bookings prior to 31st March 2025 at Winsford Gardens. 25% non refundable deposit to Utterly Marquee & Event Hire to secure Marquee Package Booking. Linen, dancefloor, and additional furniture for ceremony or cocktail hire can be arranged at additional cost. Terms and conditions apply.

If you are looking for a stunning garden venue for your wedding then pop this in your diary! This weekend together with Utterly Marquee + Event Hire we will be there to answer all of your questions and give you an opportunity to see the venue set up with a brand new marquee. The venue will be open from 9am to 5pm for the open day and the amazing team from Uttlery will be there to answer all of your questions from 9am - 12pm.

Together, with the fabulous Utterly Marquee + Event Hire we will be showcasing our beautiful garden venue and giving YOU the oppurtunity to experience the look and feel for your special day.

Utterly will be displaying their brand new marquee, exclusively for Winsofrd Gardens, set beautifully with decor and ceremony space for 100pax.

The Cute Caravan Company Mobile Bar - Weddings & Events will also be set up if you are looking for an epic bar to manage your drink service for your big day.

How Winsford Gardens came to be?....

After WW1 ended, the NZ government balloted a number of 10 acre “wilderness” land blocks to returning soldiers. If the soldier had successfully broken in the land and was still living there after 5 years the land was gifted to him.

That was the case with our patch of paradise.

The soldier who won the ballot for what is now Winsford Gardens chose to plant 200 Totara trees. 😲

Its hard right now for our brides & grooms but we have a fantastic special offer we would love to share.

We understand the most important part of the day is marrying your soulmate and we want to make that possible.

For $300 we can offer you and your husband/wife to have exclusive use of our beautiful gardens to get married in front of 8 of your loved ones plus a celebrant & photographer all in compliance with the government restrictions.

After the ceremony you are welcome to spend a few hours wondering around the beautiful gardens taking wedding photos or having a picnic

Weather you are pushing your reception out until we are in Level 1 or just want to get on with it and marry your partner (because that’s what its all about right?) We would love to help you make that a reality!

If at a later date, you decide to hold your reception at Winsford Gardens your ceremony cost will be deducted.
