It's International Doughnut Day on Friday, June 7th.

Join us for a hole lot of fun!

Six Scrumptious Flavours:

The Elvis: Peanut Butter & jam with banana and bacon.

Marsh Milo: Our take on a hot milo with a crunchy milo top and pillowy mallow filling.

Bakery Classic: The classic long donut with raspberry icing, fresh cream and raspberry jam.

The Almond Croissant: Frangipane almond mix smothered on top with flaked almonds and a heavy snow of icing sugar.

Carrot Cake: Carrot and spice dough with cheesecake filling and crunchy walnuts and seeds on top.

The O.G.: Where it all began. A round donut dipped in sweet vanilla glaze.

A perfect sweet treat for the end of the week!

We had the privilege of catering this years Anzac Day at the War memorial hall. ❤️
It was an honour to serve our delicious Anzac bikkies to those who serve our nation. We were lucky enough to meet the Governor General + special troupe’s from French Caledonia who gifted their badges & poppies to our team. 🥰

STAFF FAVOURITE!!

There's always a scramble for extras when FRY BREAD is is been made in the kitchen. Fresh from the fryer it is hot and crispy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside YUM YUM YUM 😍

We serve them with butter and housemade berry jam 🍓, but if we're really trying to be flash they make amazing donuts 🍩

Wow we have been blown away by peoples generosity, people from all over the country.
Thank you so much for all your support, this has been the most challenging time we have ever experienced and we can’t really describe how grateful and humbled we are by the support we have received ❤️

The protest in Wellington is having a significant impact on businesses across the Wellington CBD. Our cafe HOME based in the National Library has been closed since the protests began (3 weeks) effecting not just our business but also the awesome staff who work/ed there 😧
We want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Helpr who, in partnership with , has created an online tool that allows people from all over Aotearoa (and the world) to buy vouchers or donate to hospo businesses in Wellington ❤️
Smaller or bigger amounts are welcomed! You can redeem your vouchers for a coffee, refreshing beer, or a nice meal when things are back to normal/the new normal 🤙

So when our kitchen had a quiet day recently (thanks covid level red 🙁) we took advantage of the stunning day and spent the afternoon on the waterfront updating our team photos 📸 (followed by a well earned beer 🍻)

Although we are masquerading as the Home Baked team, we are one and the same!

It is with great sadness that we learnt today that Marta Zaleska a special friend and past colleague of HOME cafe and Dusted & Delicious Catering has passed away. Marta was back living in her home country of Poland and has been battling cancer. She was recently diagnosed with COVID from which sadly, she did not recover.
We remember Marta as always smiling, dancing, singing and laughing out loud . She was full of energy with a huge heart and an incredibly hard worker. Our condolences and thoughts are with Marta's family and friends at this very sad time.
Rest in peace Marta 🧡
