We’ll kick things off by eating... a gin! 🍃✨ Together, we’ll explore and deconstruct the botanical ingredients that make gin so unique. You’ll get hands-on with taste, smell, and texture as we guide you through the process.
Then, you’ll create two delicious gins to sip and savour, paired with mouth-watering sharing platters at Batch Winery. Your perfect day on Waiheke Island awaits!

Join us at one of our favourite venues, Ahipao, on September 23rd for an open Gin & Tonic experience!
In this immersive and enjoyable botanical experience you'll be guided through sampling the traditional spices that go into a classic London Dry gin, and follow our infamous recipe to create your own 'gin in a glass' with our hand-distilled alcoholic essences.
Once you're feeling comfortable, you'll craft your own bespoke gin to your specific tastes, which you'll be able to enjoy alongside some decadent platters from Ahipao's kitchen, while observing the beautiful views of Matiatia harbour.
Not drinking? No worries. We have a 0% set of essences just for you, and they're just as tasty as the alcoholic version.

Meet at Ahipao at 11am for bubbles and your gin and tonic experience. Enjoy a one hour guided botanical workshop, then sip and sup over platters while enjoying the view. Afterwards, you're free and central to enjoy a leisurely afternoon sampling the rest of Waiheke's wonders!
$145pp includes your botanical workshop where you'll make 2x gin and tonics, a glass of bubbles on arrival, and platters.
