✨ Next Saturday I’ll be back out at to officiate a wedding in the most idyllic surroundings.

I never get sick of walking into Hobbiton with the hundreds of tourists, seemingly overdressed with my PA system over my shoulder. The heads start turning and the faces light up when they hear a couple is about to get married… albeit away from curious eyes.

A magic place with one of life’s most magic moments. ✨

My journey as a celebrant began with a desire to help people come together to celebrate through the power of ceremony, storytelling and finding joy.

After 8 years and over 230 wedding ceremonies, I have begun the honour of officiating life celebrations, funerals and memorials – farewells.

Being present and guiding you on the best and the hardest days of your life is certainly a privilege and an honour that is never lost on me. Thank you for choosing me to support you in celebrating life and love while creating memorable moments together.

DIY Dave and I decided not to do ‘newlyweds’ shots on our wedding day so we didn’t miss the party.

So the plan was to get all dressed up again three days later and do a heli shoot! Such a great idea had we not gone straight into level 4 lockdown.

Instead we came back a year later and did an incredible anniversary shoot with the talented Kate Roberge Photography 🤍
