Day 3 of the Full Moon Fevah warm up brings you a mix from Gavin Sokolich aka Gavin S. Gavin is a key part of New Zealand’s house scene (and hip hop scene for that matter), having played at venues, events, radio shows and festivals throughout NZ, playing and producing with some of the globes biggest names. Gavin, now based in Tauranga, is part of the Auckland scene fabric and history, having been there from the beginning and holding a residency at the major clubs. You name one, he’s played there. He’s also done stints overseas playing alongside top international DJ’s, and some amazing events including the only closing party for the Isle of Man motorbike races alongside Carl Cox, an event nobody else has done! Gavin is one of the most entertaining, infectious (in a good way) and uplifting DJs you’ll see behind the decks and is always full of surprises!
