Time for another classic album cover!
AC/DC's Back in Black is, frankly, a rock 'n' roll triumph. Released on July 25, 1980, the album marked a critical moment for the band, as it was their first release after the tragic death of their original lead singer, Bon Scott. With Brian Johnson stepping in as the new frontman it features some of AC/DC’s most legendary tracks, including the title track "Back in Black" and "You Shook Me All Night Long."
Back in Black was a commercial success, quickly becoming a global phenomenon and solidifying AC/DC's status as rock legends.

Back in Black has sold over 50 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums ever. Its raw energy and unforgettable riffs made it a timeless classic. AC/DC's ability to turn tragedy into triumph with Back in Black not only honored Bon Scott’s legacy but also propelled the band to new heights, ensuring their place in rock history.

Time for another classic album cover!
Hotel California by The Eagles is one of the most iconic albums in rock history, released on December 8, 1976.

The title track, "Hotel California," became an instant classic with its haunting lyrics and unforgettable guitar solo, really capturing the spirit of the 1970s. With its themes of excess, disillusionment, and the darker side of the American Dream, Hotel California resonated deeply with listeners and became a defining work of the era.

Hotel California won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 1978 and has sold over 26 million copies in the U.S. alone. Classic? You bet.

Time for another classic album cover - this time, Purple Rain by Prince.
The album includes some of Prince's most iconic songs, such as the title track "Purple Rain," "When Doves Cry," and "Let's Go Crazy." It served as the soundtrack to the film Purple Rain, in which Prince made his acting debut. The movie and album together propelled him to global stardom, cementing his status as one of the most influential artists of the 1980s.

Purple Rain won two Grammy Awards and an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score, solidifying its, and Prince's, place in music history.

Time for more classic album covers, and how can it get more iconic than this?
Abbey Road by The Beatles is more than just an album; it's a musical landmark. Released on September 26, 1969, it was recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London. The album was the last time all four Beatles—John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr—came together to record, marking the end of an era for the band and music history.
The cover of the album, featuring the band crossing the zebra crossing outside Abbey Road Studios, has become one of the most famous images in pop culture. Fans from around the world still flock to the site, reenacting the iconic moment.

🎸 It's classic album artwork time again! 🎤🔥
This week, we've got Green Day's Dookie on the turntable.
Recorded in just three weeks and released 30 years ago, Dookie has sold over 20 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling punk rock albums of all time.
The cover art, created by Richie Bucher, is a colorful and chaotic illustration of a city being bombarded by bombs shaped like Dookie - a slang word for p**p!
With Billie Joe Armstrong's distinctive vocals, Dookie catapulted Green Day into the spotlight.
The album's success not only earned Green Day a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album but also arguably paved the way for a new wave of punk rock.

🌟 It's classic album artwork time again!🎶
This week - Fleetwood Mac's Rumours
Released way back in 1977, this timeless classic contains unforgettable tracks like Go Your Own Way and Dreams, and is often listed among the greatest albums of all time.
It topped the charts in several countries and won the Best Album of the Year Grammy in 1978. It's fair to say it was a huge hit!
Rumours chronicled the intense personal relationships and drama within Fleetwood Mac at the time of its recording. This raw emotional depth, combined with impeccable harmonies and instrumentation, made the album an instant classic.

🎧 Today we're throwing it back to one of the most innovative albums of the 2000s - Gorillaz's "Demon Days"
Their second studio release, this genre-bending creation gave us now classic hits like "Feel Good Inc.," "DARE," and "Dirty Harry." 🌀🎶

"Demon Days" challenged the boundaries of music and visual art, blending hip-hop, electronic, and alternative rock elements. Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's creation featured De La Soul, Neneh Cherry, Martina Topley-Bird, Roots Manuva, MF Doom, Ike Turner, Bo**ie Brown of the Pharcyde, Shaun Ryder and Dennis Hopper.
Other albums have included the likes of Stevie Nicks, André 3000, Lou Reed and Shaun Ryder among others.

With all this talent and creativity, there's no surprise that Demon Days remains a modern classic.
