Just came across this on my personal page. It wasn't an isolated incident.

"To the woman who, last night, boldly stood and looked at me with undisguised contempt when I asked about entering a shop I have been ordering my small chicken rice dish, with all the salads and bbq, garlic aioli, and avocado sauce, for the last 12 + years, and then laughed derisively and gave the worker a knowing look when I explained I did not use a “freedom pass”.

I forgive you. You know not what you have done.

Your undisguised mirth at the situation elected officials have encouraged through carrots and sticks does not pe*****te my courage, determination, or resolve to always give others the benefit of the doubt when they mindlessly act or say something that bruised my spirit.

It does not weaken my resolve strengthened over years of survival, hard fought for inner peace, to find joy and peace in every day.

I understand that modern life has created elements of dehumanisation, distraction, distress and hardship, and that the unfolding humanitarian crisis brought about globally by draconian measures, cleverly presented as a “protection framework”, is hidden from those who have not the energy or inclination to look beyond the glib words spoonfed by the mainstream media.

I understand the absence of the other side of the coin is so well hidden under derision, misinformation, fear and straight up censorship.

I understand your desperation to “just get back to normal” clouds your judgement.

I understand modern life and all of its stresses, that have not diminished but rather accelerated, has potentially weakened your connection with a higher being, or even your own innate intuition.

I understand how it’s easy to let certain phrases that have been drummed into you fall from your lips without any real knowledge of who I am, what I believe, and how I move through the world.

I understand that systemised society has created apathy, disinterest, and disillusionment to the point it’s easier to just ignore things that create waves too large to comprehend.

For years, I’ve been saying to friends “when the Zombies come”.

When I looked in your face last night, when I saw and felt the emanating distaste from you, when I coupled that first hand experience with the knowledge of how many good NZers are eagerly lapping at the building contempt for their fellow good NZers whom are opting to decline to be part of an experiment, and falling over themselves to receive a third dose of a clearly unsafe, ineffective serum that has already harmed and killed thousands upon thousands globally, I realised.

The Zombies are here."

"This from former Mayor of Coromandel District and former National Party MP, Sandra Goudie. It's a message worth repeating, ad infinitum.

For clarity, a vote for parties that have zero chance of making it into Parliament will only benefit Labour or National. Our Parliament must be proportional to votes cast while at the same time recognising the 5% party vote threshold means a small percentage will be "wasted" votes. Those votes are then distributed among those parties that get voted in. The larger parties are the beneficiaries.

A vote for the following will only help Labour and National get more seats:
