Many of those looking to Marry or to Renew their Vows in paradise often wonder as to how it all looks, the lay-out of where their ceremony is performed, the backdrop to their celebrations & so on....

At first glance you may wonder what this photo - taken en route to our motu (private island) to celebrate the wedding of a wonderful couple from Hawaii - has to do with a wedding in Bora Bora ...... though, don't you like the way they hook up the boat's very own jet-skis!

Well those lucky to be aboard the reportedly $250million "Invictus" would also come to our motu later in the day, as our happy couple cruised homewards at sunset, for a special private early evening show, drinks, dinner.....

People today are seeking the unique & exceptional as opposed to the brand-name backdrop photo. Why not come with Wedding Bora Bora & celebrate the way the billionaires do .........for a fraction of the cost!

Maria and Michael vow renewal on Matira Beach 2/2/17

We normally post professional photographs but felt this time that we'd share a video taken with the client's smart-phone.....seeing the ceremonies at this level is reassuring.

With the tahua (non-denominational ceremony celebrant), an assistant sounding the 'pu' (conch shell), 4 dancers & 3 musicians the ceremony was all about the generosity that is innate in Polynesians, matched only by the warmth & sharing of Michael & Maria, the principal players on the day. Congratulations on your 30 years of marriage & may there be many more to come. X

Wedding David & Eva - Private Motu

Since my initial posting concerning Michael's tragic drowning I've been asked by other whom he united in marriage to run their videos in an ongoing tribute to our Tahua.

Last week our inimitable Tahua, Michael, who has married & assisted so many in exceptional weddings & renewal of vows ceremonies was tragically killed in a drowning accident.

With David & Eve's permission we are posting a video of their ceremony that this kind, generous, charismatic & gregarious man conducted for them. I have a sense of being somewhat robbed now that Michael has left us for the ultimate celebration!

Michael will be greatly missed.
