In the Catholic Church, vocation refers to the unique calling that each individual receives from God. This calling can take different forms, such as the call to marriage, religious life, priesthood, or single life. Each person's vocation is a path to holiness and a way to fulfill God's plan for their life.

The call to priesthood is a special calling to serve as a minister of the sacraments and shepherd the faithful. It requires a life of prayer, sacrifice, and service to the Church. Those who feel called to the priesthood are called to live a life of celibacy and obedience, devoting themselves entirely to God and His people.

Married life is also a vocation in which a husband and wife are called to live out their love for each other in a way that reflects the love between Christ and the Church. This vocation requires selflessness, sacrifice, and a commitment to building a family that is centered on God.

Young life is a time of discernment and exploration, where young people can discover their unique gifts and talents and discern God's call for their life. Whether it be through marriage, priesthood, religious life, or another path, young people are called to seek God's will and follow it with courage and faith.

On this Good Shepherd Sunday and Vocation Sunday, let us pray for all those discerning their vocation, that they may have the courage to follow God's call and be faithful to His plan for their lives. May we all strive to do whatever we do with great love, knowing that in fulfilling our vocation, we are fulfilling God's will for us.

Welcome to the Kewabi Parish Events Updates page! This page is dedicated to providing updates on upcoming events for Catholic Christians in the Kewabi Parish, located in Ialibu/Pangia of Mendi Diocese, Southern Highlands Province.

Our parish is home to the Marian Shrine/Fatima Shrine, which is a special place of devotion for Mother Mary. The name Fatima comes from the town in Portugal where Mother Mary appeared to three children Saints; Francisco, Lucia, and Jesinta. Many miracles have been reported to take place here, touching the lives of many people.

As for the miraculous apparition of Our Lady of Fatima, it took place on May 13, 1917, at 12:00 pm in Fatima, Portugal. This event marked the beginning of a series of apparitions that continued until October 13, 1917. These apparitions have since become an important part of Catholic history and devotion. On this joyous Easter Sunday, I want to wish you all a blessed and happy day filled with love, joy, and peace. May the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ bring hope and renewal to your hearts, and may his eternal love shine upon you always.

Let us rejoice and give thanks for the gift of salvation, and let us remember the true meaning of Easter - a time of forgiveness, redemption, and new beginnings.

Advent presents from God.
Displayed here are Ralics of various Saints namely. St.Faustina,St.Pope.John.Paul II, St Rita.St.Therese of little flower and so forth.

Ralics are ment for venerations. They are the remains of the earthly people who have lived a Holy life while on Earth. That doesn't mean they lived freely from problem, struggles, hardships and we name them in life but they have survived all of these and they become incorruptible in the eyes of God. Therefore, they deserve d to be with God.

They are the role models for us to be called Holy or Saints.
