Our Story

More than 10 years ago, only occasionally would you see vehicles passing along the Magalang-Arayat road here in Pampanga. There were also many plowed fields on both sides of the road. Now, this part of the municipality of Arayat, a mere three kilometers away from the majestic Mount Arayat, is showing commercial progress. Slowly, roadside businesses are sprouting up.

Amparo’s Garden is one such development. Located beside Arayat’s Welcome Arch along the Magalang-Arayat road, it was originally planned as a retirement home with a big garden, to be dedicated to the owner’s mother. With prodding from friends, it has since become a Restaurant & Events Place.

Amparo’s Garden started in early 2019 with the opening of the restaurant; and immediately catered social events like birthdays, graduations, and weddings with great success. It continues to accept requests for reservation despite the garden being still a work-in-progress. Frequent guests say there’s just something captivating in the Garden that makes them come back again and again.

FOOD. Maybe it’s the food! Try our signature Amparo’s Chicken Mango Salad. Sample Amparo’s authentic Thai Mu Kratha. Taste our delectable Seafood Supreme. They are the Garden’s Bestsellers. Know why they have become big hits.

GATHERINGS. Could it also be because of the Garden’s big space? Bring your family, friends, and officemates. Let your children play in the lawn while you, your spouse, and besties go into a huddle over your freshly-cooked flavorful dishes. And while you finish your favorite drink, listen to some cool music too.

MEMORIES. Possibly it’s the pleasing ambience as well! Reserve the place for the most important occasion in your life. Hire a guitar ensemble or a solo pianist in the background to play you and your partner’s theme song, setting the mood for a romantic evening...and a memorable one to boot.

At Amparo’s Garden, you will naturally enjoy the sumptuous food; gladly meet up with loved ones; and simply create lasting memories.

Amparo’s Garden is a Restaurant & Events Place dedicated to the owner’s mother. It was inaugurated on February 14, Valentine’s Day, which happens to be Mama Amparo’s birth anniversary. Amparo loved cooking and eating her favorite dishes, the recipes of which were passed down to her. What’s outstanding about what she would prepare was she would always try to make the dishes her own. She would concoct surprisingly yummy meals. But what’s even more outstanding was she would always share them over a little chitchat and consequently make friends.

Amparo was not only good at preparing for a gathering, though. During the gathering itself, she’s the one usually called on to play the piano and provide entertainment. Guests could only watch in awe; sing along; and dance to the beat. Then, she would also call her children to play along which made the get-togethers at that time all the more exciting.

Relatives and friends would always go home feeling full and very happy.

Those were the times. And in such activities the owner would like to remember her mother. Amparo’s Garden is the owner’s tribute to her mother, hoping that the memories the latter created then, will somehow live on.
