This is very true. Sometimes, we generally feel and think that our obligations are just towards our children. We always take it for granted that when the Lord says 'Honor your father and your mother.' , such responsibility ends once we start our own family. We tend to forget that at their senior age, when their resources are limited and their biological make up has deteriorated, they need that commitment from us to honor them by taking care of them.

A friend once told me, "We seniors are no longer ROI but more of LOI. It's now that I realized that he is right. SENIORS.have reached their life stage of LOSS OF INVESTMENT yet SOME.SENIORS still achieve their RETURN OF INVESTMENT when they are lucky enough to still be taken care of by their children. Sad but true.😔✌
