June 1, 2024 || In celebration of the 13th BJMP Community Relations Service Month, Talisay City Jail - Female Dormitory proudly showcased the livelihood products skillfully handcrafted by their clientele, the persons deprived of liberty (PDL) as part of their rehabilitation journey during the recently concluded Charity Fashion Show at Starmall Talisay - Cebu.
Through the initiative of Acting Warden JSINSP MARRION GAIL BERNADETTE B DONGAN, this jail unit marked another significant milestone as part of the Jail Bureau's ongoing commitment to community-driven change for our sisters behind bars. The success of this event reflects the power of collaborative efforts between the BJMP and our communities.
Together with Queen Mother of Cebu 2024 Queens and jail officers, this event was sponsored by the Local Government Unit of Talisay under the administration of Hon. Samsam Gullas, Vice Mayors and City Councilors of Talisay, PNP Talisay under the leadership of PLTCOL EPREAM G PAGUYOD, January Builders, Classic Mrs. International Global 2024 Liz Tagimacruz, Ms. Geraldine Gamboa, Big Development Training and Assessment Center Inc., Starmall Talisay - Cebu, 360 Events Cebu Photobooth and Videobooth, Perfect Selections PH, and Nutribaked Food Products Inc.
The proceeds from this fundraising event will positively impact our livelihood programs and jail activities aiming at informative and rehabilitative approach to public safety.
