Malamig na sa Tagaytay, need ko na ng kayakap haha!

Scope of work:
-ASSISTANCE FOR THE PROGRAM. Ex. Preparing game materials and others that the wedding coordinator is not giving (rarely happens naman na they are not giviiing)🤌swerte ako kapag marunong sumayaw yung tiktok lang naman magtuturo sa abay.
-TAKING VIDEOS. Using my phone lang, nothing fancy or professional.

Mga bawal:
-BAWAL MAHIYAIN. Ok lang ang very demure and very mindful pero dapat go makipag usap and makihalubilo sa iba since I handle social events.
-BAWAL MAY CURFEW. Madalas kasi gabi ang tapos ng even. As late as 11pm to 12midnight pa minsan so if babae, dapat strong independent woman. Yung kaya umuwi kahit gabi na. Sorry hindi hatid sundo ang love language ko po e haha.
-MAY JOWA NA GUSTO LAGI INAUPDATE. Busy kase tayo be, ayaw ko yung laging may ka video call and chat. Dapat focus sa program.

But in general, this job is so easy and so masaya. Hindi to high stress and high pressure job. Di nakakaputi ng bangs. Hahaha.

The Beginning...

It was 7 years ago when it all started. One Sunday morning, my cousin, the one and only renowned Host Jam messaged me if I can make it in Tagaytay by a certain time. Her “manager” back then needed a host right a way. In doubt, I said, YES! That time, I don’t have any knowledge on how a wedding program is usually done. I don’t even have a decent dress and shoes to wear! But since we are in a very tight situation financially, this is a great opportunity for me, so I grabbed it!

Luckily, the coordinators, catering staff and sounds and lights tech of the event are amazingly kind to guide me along the way. They were very generous of their inputs and feedback. The event turned out great. My mom was very proud yet still didn’t forget to criticise for improvement. Haha.

Remembering how it all happened still makes me feel really loved. I was 17 back then, the wedding industry was just booming and never have I ever attended or even witnessed a formal wedding celebration, but still I was the person whom Host Jam called. I was trusted. My tita generously lend me a dress and a pair of shoes. My grandma gave me money for our fare. My mom accompanied me and stood by my side the whole event. I was loved and supported.
