WHAT IS "KILOM-KILOM?" - “Kilom-kilom” (Bisaya, noun, “sunset, dusk, afterglow”) is a series of year-round weekend celebrations of Dipolog City’s stunning sunsets showcasing the visual and performing arts, food and arts and crafts. The Kilom-Kilom concept culminates in an annual grand mardi gras, the dates of which are determined by the organizers. Organizations and individuals are invited to propose events and presentations within the project's realm of interests; including stage presentations, art exhibits ( visual and performing arts,) sporting events, food festivals and arts, crafts and hobby fairs. Kilom-Kilom happens every weekend; beginning at sunset on Fridays through Sunday. Contact the organizers for current listings. An annual Grand Mardi Gras is part of the Kilom-Kilom concept. Fridays - Entertainment Events

Saturdays - special events, competitions, workshops, etc. Program starts at immediately after sunset (on Fridays) and 4:30PM on Saturdays. Kilom-Kilom primarily takes place at the Dipolog City Boulevard. Other locations may be specified by the organizers. CAN LOCAL BUSINESSES TAKE PART IN THIS PROJECT? Yes!, we need support from local businesses; as event proponents and sponsors. WHO ORGANIZED KILOM-KILOM? - This event is presented by the Province of Zamboanga del Norte and the City of Dipolog. It is a concept of Armand Bengua-Frasco, a Dipolognon currently based in Chicago. It is a public project in collaboration with the private sector meant to instill civic pride and promote our city to the rest of the country and the world.
