I've read a lot of horror stories of patients' negative effects from chemotherapy. During the duration of the treatment, majority of them have lost their taste buds and appetite and even feel weak. But Joms, though, has been telling me that he has been craving for kimchi bacon with rice and a side dish since last week and that he’d like to eat last night.
Without a second thought, I placed our order at K SPICE, our favorite Korean restaurant for more than 6yrs and wouldn’t trade their kimchi bacon to any other restos.
As we waited for our order, I asked the rider to message me the exact amount owed so I could transfer the payment. However, I received a response from him saying that the owner had waived the payment, so I was left with nothing to pay. I still insisted on paying even half of the due, but they were insisting that it had already been covered.
K SPICE is not just your typical Korean restaurant where they just want your money or the go to place whenever you want Korean food; instead, this place has a heart full of kindness and compassion to their loyal customers and community. Thank youuuu Madam Say Dondiego for satisfying Joms’ cravings last night. 🫶🏻

On top of that, I wanted to thank the Lord for His provision, Joms' strength and strong immune system, which has allowed him to maintain his appetite and continue to eat normally. We still have 6 chemotherapy sessions and radiation to go and we are praying for positive response from his body and maintain the same energy and appetite all throughout.
To everyone who has been praying and blessing us with spiritual and financial help, you have no idea how much you have lifted our burden every day, at every medical appointment, every session.
