Children are innately hardwired to play, as play is how children learn. It provides a space where they can actively apply, process, reinforce, and experiment with their day-to-day interactions and experiences, all while interconnecting and enhancing all the domains of development.

Play also encourages children to adapt and extend their learning. They might modify rules in a game to make it more exciting or invent new scenarios that push the boundaries of their knowledge. These experiences foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

Play should not be seen as a reward. It should not be taken away. It should not be viewed as a "break from learning." Play IS learning.

Don't feel pressured to have your two or three-year old attend a drop-off preschool program. Children develop at their own pace, and sometimes need an interim step.

Our programs grow with your child from birth to kindergarten -transitioning from adult/child classes for the younger ones, to a class with a "separation time" to get them used to being in class without their grown-up, to fully-independent learning for our "big kids". And all our classes support their physical, cognitive and social/emotion learning, including early literacy and math skills.
