FROM 450K BUDGET TO 621K ACTUAL WEDDING COST 😳

Just sharing our expenses, mas mahapdi pa sa sugat pero sige lang happy naman kami at naka-survive pa rin☺️🙏🏻 kahit papano di naman naghirap after 😁☺️

Yes, nakakapagod magpakasal😩🥺 pero nag-enjoy naman kami ni groom kasi napaka bait at napaka responsive ni full coor nmin at ibang suppliers.

At saka di po kami umasa sa both sides namin, lalo na expenses. As in kami lang po talaga ni groom lahat2.

Yung gusto nming budget sana is till 450k lang maximum pero izzaprank pala yun kasi umabot kami ng 621k mahigit sa mga naalala lang namin na expenses😩

Di pala ganun kadali nakaka stress pa rin kahit may full coor kana. 🥺

Nagpapasalamat lang ako kasi may partner ako na napakaunderstanding at tinutulungan niya ako sa mga decisions at napakasipag niya lalo na sa mga lakad nmin.

Sana lahat ng bride magkaron ng napaka responsableng partner or soon to be husband. Kaya kahit gumastos kami ng ganun kalaki, pero para saming dalawa worth it ang lahat kasi ang ganda nmn po ng kinalabasan after ng wedding, well organized at no stress kasi magaling ang coordinator namin since prenup session.

Iniisip nalang namin na once lang to magyayari😃 pero sabi niya papakasalan daw niya ako ulit after 10yrs para sa aming renewal of vows 😄☺️🙏🏻di pa nadala na gastos 😁

Pero inaamin nmin may mga away pa rin before the wedding at normal yun pero di about sa kasal yung rason kundi lahat personal lang☺️ Pero still we always prayed for each other kaya yung away di nalagpas ng kinabukasan at okay na kami ulet.. 🙏🏻☺️🥰

Hello, future newlyweds and celebrants!

I would like to introduce myself. I'm Shai and I'm glad to be your acquaintance! Why did I start this?

Simple: Love of romcoms and project management.

Long answer: I so love romcoms and I enjoy organizing projects and events for my friends and colleagues!

Last November 2023, my best friend of 11 years finally got married to the love of her life and she asked me to be her Maid of Honor.

She didn't know what to do, or where to start because she didn't attend any wedding before hers. As she told me, "Wala pa akong napupuntahang kasal! Kasal ko lang!" 🤣 [I haven't gone to any weddings! Only mine!]

So as a go-to flower girl and bridesmaid to many of my cousins, I immediately shared my knowledge in what to do and prepare for a wedding. I immediately started helping her plan her big day. I did research, trackers, her wedding invitation, wedding website (e-invitation), and everything I could do to help her lighten her wedding planning burden.

The day came and it was more beautiful than anticipated! We had our ups and downs planning the wedding as there were many changes throughout the process, but it was all worth it! (Will be sharing photos in a separate post)

Seeing her so happy and how beautiful it all turned out made me think that I really want to do this!

So, I signed up for a wedding planning course on Udemy.com to further my planning and management skills. Below are my certifications of completion from Udemy.com
