Theme: "Musika Para Sa Mga Bicolanong Triskelions" (Battle of Original Bicol Composition of Songs)

WHO CAN JOIN THE COMPETITION?

1. All band groups in the Bicol Region that have at least 2 to 3 Triskelion members preferably the lead vocalist are eligible to compete in the Battle of the Bands. There will be up to 9 members only in the official band.

2. Band members must be at least 18 years old. No Exceptions.

3. Members must be physically and mentally fit and have no any derogatory record.

4. Proof of residency will be required at the registration meeting.

The official bands that will compete in the Battle of the Bands will be notified 7 to 15 days before the competition via bands' contact information.

OFFICIAL RULES

1. Each band group will perform one (1) music for warm up and two (2) for contest proper as contest piece and must be limited to 25mins including setting up of individual instruments.

2. There is no restriction as to genre of music to be performed. However, music with offensive content is strictly prohibited.

3. All participants are required to be courteous and respectful toward other participating musicians.

4. Using pre-recorded music of any kind is strictly prohibited. Such may result to the band’s immediate disqualification even if they have performed already.

5. Each band group shall bring there own musical instrument except for drum set. Band drummer shall bring his/her own drum stick.

6. The top 1 band with highest rate as determined by the panel of judges shall be declared winner – Champion.

7. The Battle Of The Band will strictly start at 6PM at the Tiendisitas De Legazpi, Binanuahan "Banua" Legazpi City Albay.

8. Non-appearance of the band during their turn of performance shall be immediately and automatically disqualified.

9. The Organizing Committee shall not be held liable against any injuries sustained by the band members during their performance due to their recklessness, arrogance, and misbehavior.

10. Any violation of this rules and mechanics will lead to one (3) points deduction from each judges score sheet.

11. Judges decision is final and irrevocable. In case of tie, initial of point shall be considered.

12. All contestants must be present atleast one (1) hour before the event for final briefing.
