The Department of Health – Bicol Center for Health Development received reports of 24 COVID-19 cases from Pag-Ibig Fund Legazpi, F. Imperial St., Bitano, Legazpi City, Albay. This is from the period of January 24 to February 5, 2021.

We strongly advise those who visited said office from January 20 to January 30, 2021, to contact/call the nearest health facility for health assessment to determine possible exposure. For those who have been contact traced, strictly follow the advice of your healthcare provider.

The Department of Health – Bicol Center for Health Development strongly urges the public to strictly follow the minimum public health standards and the BIDA+ Solusyon Kontra COVID-19.

Always wear your facemask and face shield properly; sanitize your hands with 70% alcohol and avoid enclosed places; maintain social distancing; and, limit face-to-face interaction. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus.
