Happy New Year from Ilawoods Resort and Sanctuary!

As we step into 2025, we look back with gratitude at the experiences that have shaped us over the past year. This has been a year of growth, resilience, and unity, especially as we faced the challenges brought about by the recent storm that hit Lemery, Batangas.

The storm tested our strength, but it also highlighted the unwavering spirit of our community. At Ilawoods, we came together to support each other—our staff, guests, and local residents—working tirelessly to restore what was damaged and ensure the safety and comfort of everyone around us. While nature's forces are beyond our control, the kindness, perseverance, and determination we've witnessed are a testament to the resilience of our people.

Ilawoods Resort and Sanctuary is truly blessed and filled with immense joy and gratitude after the recent visit of the Most Reverend Gilbert A. Garcera, DD, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Lipa in the Philippines. His brief stay was a moment of great significance for us.

The visit was made even more meaningful with the presence of Mrs. Oliva, the proud owner of Ilawoods, and our dear friend, Mrs. Fely Bruce.

Both Mrs. Oliva and Archbishop Garcera, share a common bond as proud Bicolanos. It was a heartfelt reunion of friends and fellow Bicolanos, bringing a special warmth and connection to the occasion.
