Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events Management class of BSHM 416A A student-led event centered on the topic of sustainability.

Objectives:
- To share knowledge, experiences, and practices that can help build resilient and sustainable systems in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

- To address the underlying issues about sustainability in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry in the local context.

- To help promote local and small businesses by providing an avenue where they can showcase their products.

- To gather resources by promoting sustainable efforts to direct to the chosen community.

Today is the day for the long-awaited event, ACTS: A Circular (Movement) Towards Sustainability. The committees have worked tirelessly to prepare an exciting yet insightful program for the attendees today. We're looking forward to help everyone understand sustainability further and to share how it can become a helpful instrument in creating a better society. 🌱

This upcoming December 15, 2022, the class of Introduction to MICE is holding our 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓-𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐡𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 entitled “𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐒: 𝐀 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 (𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭) 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲.” We made sure to invite speakers that would add value and meaning to our advocacy. ♻️

To make it more interesting for everyone, we will partner with organizations with the same vision and invite small businesses that might interest you. Together with our collaborators, we will elevate important issues on sustainability and influence narratives and activities that can cause positive actions in a circular or repeating motion (for as long as possible!).
