Our Story
Traditional Filipino Cuisine since 1992
Patio de Conchita fist opened in November 4, 1992 which was originally made from kubo (Nipa hut) and few Coca-Cola tables with umbrella and chairs. It was founded by Mrs. Conchita de Leon Escosio and originally to cater her family for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These few tables and chairs were placed next to the street when some pedestrians though that it was a small carenderia but its not. Mrs. Conchita Escosio then opened a small restaurant and named it after her, soon after it went famous, it’s customers are construction workers that worked along Intramuros and Pier.
Since then, it was developed slowly and maintained its original recipe of Mrs. Conchita Escosio’s Filipino lutong-bahay cuisine. From her original Adobong and Kalderetang Kambing (goat), Sinigang sa Baboy and Miso, Papaitan, and many more typical home style cooking of food. Up to date, the recipe had never change since then and she still continues to cook for her love if Filipino Cuisine and her love for her family.
