On October 22nd, one of our toddler boys Christian celebrated his 4th birthday.

Christian arrived at Babyanne’s Mansion on July 10th, with many wounds on his head and legs that were starting to affect his liver. Christian has been de-wormed, treated for his wounds and given proper medicine and vitamins to restore proper health. Christian used to be an attention seeker – having tantrums, crying all the time and crawling under the bed. He always seemed to be hungry, asking for food each time he woke up.

After 3 months in our care, Christian is thriving well. He receives the warmth and protective care from the house parents and staff that has allowed him to feel secure, accepted and loved. Christian enjoys playing with cars, fire trucks and toys that light up. He also likes playing hide-and-seek outside with the other kids, catching dragonflies and flying kites. He gets pleasure in being “big brother,” always reminding the younger ones to not fight and to always share their toys.

Today, Christian is in 1st grade at St. Joseph School of Baliuag. He loves going to school and learning a lot, and hopes to one day become a police officer so that he can protect other children or to be a pilot so he can travel to far places. It is such a delight to us to know that the Lord continues to put big dreams in the hearts of the children so that He will be magnified.
