On December 7, 2023, the results of the September 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers for Secondary Education were revealed. We are here to announce with great honor and pride that three (3) of EMCEE Kolumbano's Club Advisers have recently passed the exams.

Congratulations to our Eloquent and Charismatic Advisers, Ms. Kristine Mae Ediang, Mr. TJ Florendo, and Ms. Honey Lou Mahinay for recently passing the board exams! The results made us over the moon. We have seen your dedication and diligent efforts as passionate mentors who care for the well-being of your students. Your knowledge in teaching has continually motivated us hosts and scriptwriters to be the best versions of ourselves. Thank you, dear Advisers, for guiding and supporting us through every step of the way.

Also, we would like to congratulate all four (4) of EMCEE Kolumbano's Advisers for the success of the recent event they handled with the College of Business Education (CBE) and English World Enthusiasts (EWE) — the 1st English Festival of the SHS Department with the theme: "English as a Global Language: Bridging Cultures, Connecting the Word." You all are the living testaments of how faith, hard work, and perseverance can ultimately bring success.

Live at Saint Columban College Senior High School Department, let us all welcome, the newly-appointed Head Host and Head Scriptwriter of EMCEE Kolumbano! 👏

The EMCEE Kolumbano Officers and Club Advisers appointed two active students for Head Host and Head Scriptwriter. These students have shown their dedication and expertise in being a host and scriptwriter — that is why they were appointed as the Heads. They will work together in picking well-suited hosts and scriptwriters for our upcoming events.

🎙 The Head Host will be the one who will teach and guide the students to strengthen their skills to be better hosts. Additionally, he will schedule practices for the hosts of the upcoming event. Our Head Host is the famous voice for introducing the selected hosts during events — heard as "Live at Saint Columban College Youth Development Center..."

📝 The Head Scriptwriter will be the one who will guide students to enhance their scriptwriting skills. She will be the one to assess the format and grammar of the scripts created by the members. Also, she will check and correct the scripts made by the scriptwriters before giving them to the President for final evaluation.

Our Heads are ready to guide the students and work with the officers this school year while practicing the club's core values of being Eloquent, Memorable, Charismatic, Enjoyable, and Engaging! 💚✨

Panagdait sa Diyos, sa tanan, ug sa tanang kabuhatan! 🎙💚

On September 22, 2023, the EMCEE Kolumbano club officers and club members gathered to discuss the selection and preparation of hosts and scriptwriters for the upcoming PADULA 2023. The students participated, volunteered, and showcased their talents and skills as the officers selected the upcoming hosts and scriptwriters for the event.

We are ecstatic to announce that we have finished selecting hosts who can connect with the audience and scriptwriters who can make appropriate and humorous scripts.

After the meeting, the EMCEE Kolumbano Club held a short seminar highlighting how to make scripts for the club's scriptwriters to improve their knowledge and understanding of scriptwriting. ✍️ In addition, the club officers also taught them some tips when making scripts and hosting.

On September 14, 2023, the TALIDHAY 2023 was held as the SCCSHS celebrated its acquaintance party with presentations from the different elements 🌍 Earth, 🔥 Fire, 🌊 Water, and 🌬️ Air and the different academic and non-academic clubs. On that day, the EMCEE Kolumbano together with the President, Sandra Mae A. Villaver, and two of their club advisers, Mr. TJ Florendo and Ms. Honey Lou Mahinay, was given the recognition as an official non-academic club of the SCCSHS.

The event started with an improvised drama excerpt from an iconic scene of "Barcelona: A Love Untold" by our morning hosts, Jhon Richgie C. Rota and Kelsey S. Cabaluna as they worked together with the scriptwriters Sun-hee C. Celera, Christine Faith C. Lianza, and Gwyneth Anne L. Oh.

Also, let us not forget to show our gratitude towards the afternoon hosts Reem B. Hamed Abouzeid Aly, Kristine Grace A. Vivas, Donn Anthony Pinatacan Samsona, with their scriptwriters Precious Jewel V. Miano, and Daniel J. Operio who have worked vigorously for our afternoon program.

Let us congratulate the officers, hosts, and scriptwriters of EMCEE Kolumbano as they Elevated the Moment through a Captivating Emceeing Experience. We would like to thank everyone for giving your utmost effort during the preparation and the event of our TALIDHAY 2023.

We highly encourage you to read the information below on how you can audition for EMCEE Kolumbano.
(Former members are required to audition again.)

Screening for Hosts 🎤:

The Auditions will be on Sept 1 (Friday) at 3-5 pm and Sept 2 (Saturday) at 10 am - 12 NN. The screening will be held in EB 2-1.

You can audition by performing as:
-Solo
-Duo
-Trio

You will be given 15 minutes to create a script. The topic will be given randomly. Don't forget to bring your pen and paper. If you prefer working digitally, you can make your script in your laptop instead. 📝💻
