Omar, I cannot believe you are still talking about this and thinking about me. Why is this still going on? Honestly, is your mental health ok?
You’re calling the failed tour a scam. A scam in its essence, means I would have made money from you. I lost money, so let’s talk about the facts.
-I have been running events for 20 years. This was the first event/tour I have ever cancelled.
-The tour that your were the headline artist for, failed to sell tickets in both the Philippines (26 tickets) and the Australian tour (50 tickets). I cancelled both tours because you didn’t want to reschedule.
-Out of all the shows for the Philippines tour, the show in Pasig was to raise funds for the youth program. But when the tour with you as the headline wasn’t selling, the shows were canceled but I personally funded the show at Pasig so the tickets that did sell would go to that community. But the money from that night, you and the other artists pocketed the money - shame on you all! What a disgrace. I lost money and the youth of the community got nothing.
-I am a self funded tour promoter, not a groupy. The Australian leg of the tour was going to cost over $14,000 + AUD and you as the headline artist sold under 50 tickets nationally. If I continued with the tour, I would have lost all that money. Instead of losing money I wanted to reschedule until we had the time to grow a fan base here. But you said no and wanted to cancel.
-You then asked to still come to Australia as a tourist. I said no because your visas were a working visa and you would need tourist visas. You then offered me money to still use the working visa, what a joke of course I said no! I offered to help you to secure tourist visas but instead of working with me you started to slander me and behaving like a spoilt child. I had a responsibility to ensure the visas were used for the reason they were granted. The funny thing is, I could have helped you, your wife and sister, get tourist visas. But no, you chose to make my name trend on Google (thank you by the way), by being a person of hate.
-I have the Entertainment Visa approvals, Entertainment Union approval letter, flight itinerary, hotel confirmations, venue booking confirmations, local support act lineups and the contract you signed - yet you’re calling it a scam? How does that make sense? It doesn’t because the reality is that the truth is hurting you, so you’re placing the blame on me to make yourself feel better - but deep down you know the truth.
-Congratulations, It’s great that you came to Australia recently on tour with a group of artists. But remember Omar, you weren’t the only one on stage.
The entertainment industry is fu***ng hard, at times it hurts, there are hard moments that make any artist or promoter question why they are doing this. Clearly this industry isn’t for you yet because you can’t accept accountability for yourself and you don’t have the ability yet for self reflection and growth.
The difference is that the legends and GOATS of the entertainment industry own their failings. They don’t blame others for when they have choked. They pride themselves on their journey from failure to success. A true, humble artist, faces their challenges, grows and works harder to become great. No artist goes from zero to hero without a rocky road but, they focus on how to improve, strive to do better and face towards the hardships. Stop being embarrassed and start to owning your past.
It’s time to stop being a baby, be a man, be a role model and move on.
Why did you wait until your were back in the Philippines, all tucked up in bed, before you wrote the post and started this bu****it again. YOU WERE HERE in Melbourne, why didn’t you come and say what you wanted to me. I would have even stood on a stage and battled this out with you. Don’t be a keyboard warrior, it’s weak.
Omar, if your behavior towards me continues, I will file a defamation case in the Philippines.
Public apology will be accepted.
Good luck on your journey towards being an artist.
