For the first time, I’m sharing a little more about myself here. I’m Chyness, creative director of Dear Mariela. My approach to wedding styling is deeply personal—effortless, organic, and true to the couple. Inspired by French and Italian weddings, I embrace a more intentional way of creating, designing with purpose, and capturing a feeling—one that reflects the couple, their story, and the little moments shared with loved ones. I believe in enhancing the beauty of what’s already there rather than overwhelming it, letting every element speak for itself.

Dear Mariela is all about celebrating love in its most natural form. My design philosophy flows with the location, highlighting its charm while staying true to the couple’s essence. Every wedding is a reflection of shared moments, thoughtful details, and an atmosphere that feels right rather than forced. This is why I take on only a limited number of weddings—to ensure each one is carefully curated with care and intention.
