One of the most enriching parts of traveling is immersing yourself in different cultures, gaining fresh inspiration, and exchanging ideas. Even more special is the opportunity to share your own heritage in return. ❤️

For me, that experience was in Korea—first as an exchange student during college, and later when I received my intensive flower training there. Immersing myself in the culture, traditions, and artistry of Korean floristry gave me a fresh perspective—one that I’m excited to share with you!🫶

What I love most about attending flower classes is the opportunity to explore different styles and techniques—each florist brings their own unique perspective to their work. It’s also a wonderful chance for cultural exchange, meeting new friends who share the same love for flowers. 😍 我真的很高兴见到你 See you soon! 🫶🫶 i think my brain used all the korean and chinese words I know. 🧠

I’m truly grateful to my teachers at who have generously shared their knowledge and techniques during class, and to our 한중 통역사 (Korean-Chinese Interpreters). 너무 너무 감사합니다. 🙏There’s still so much to learn, but I’m loving the process every step of the way! 💐

We may not always notice it, but flowers are deeply woven into our daily lives—from the streets we walk on to the spaces we call home. What fascinates me most is how a country’s culture reflects the significance of its flowers. If you take a closer look, flowers have historically shaped and influenced in some way the traditions, art, and even the way we express emotions across different cultures. ☘️

Through Cultural Floral Exchange Academy .ph and our Flower Class Series, I hope to share these beautiful connections with you. From the moment I started my floral journey, my goal has always been clear: to promote sustainable floristry and bring quality floral education to the Philippines. That’s why I founded Cultural Floral Exchange Academy .ph —a place where you can learn diverse floral styles and techniques. I’m constantly learning and furthering my studies so I can share my knowledge and help others grow in this field.🌙

In the floral industry, we strive to accelerate change by embracing sustainability—choosing natural techniques and eliminating floral foam in our arrangements. By doing so, we reduce waste, protect the environment, and inspire more florists to adopt eco-friendly practices. 🌸

𝑰𝒍 𝒅𝒐𝒍𝒄𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒓 𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆 - an Italian phrase that translates to "the sweetness of doing nothing." During the pandemic, I learned the importance of "now", finding beauty in the present moment and taking the time to simply be. I allowed myself to slow down, to pause and appreciate the little things—like the scent of flowers in bloom. 🌼

But as the world picked up its relentless pace, the cycle of hustle resumed, pulling us back into a culture that glorifies productivity until we burn out. Then, I came across this phrase—a beautiful reminder of what I had almost forgotten.

Flowers teach us an important truth: life is fleeting. They don’t rush to bloom, nor do they resist when it’s time to fade. They simply exist in their moment of beauty.🌙🌸

Perhaps we, too, can learn from them—to appreciate the present, to rest without guilt, and to find sweetness in simply being.💐🍃
