Mangroves are shrub and tree that mostly lives in water areas. They act as natural barriers for our Coastal communities. It helps us to eliminate erosion, flooding, storm surge, and hurricane. It serves as a valuable nursery area for fish and invertebrates. Also, it filters and traps sediments, heavy metals, and other pollutants to give us a good quality of water. These are some of the Mangroves services.
