But allow me to share with you a story.
7 years ago, my husband and I planned and organized our own wedding. It was so much fun and challenging at the same time.
First thing we did was find the venue for our dream wedding. This wasn't easy, we had to check out more than 5 event places for ourselves to really decide which one. We both wanted a garden wedding. Lots of flowers. The works. Not so big, simple, practical but also elegant and beautiful.
When we finalized the date and the venue, it was time to sort out the finer details. Find a dressmaker. Pick out the decor. Decide on the food. It wasn't a walk in the park either.
On the day of the wedding, thankfully our good friends at church helped us coordinate. But as the owner of the event who planned everything, it was difficult to enjoy MY DAY and NOT think about what was happening behind scenes.
Thankfully our wedding was amazing! Far from perfect, but it was the happiest day of our lives. ❤️❤️
Planning my own wedding taught me two things:
That no bride must solely plan/ coordinate her own wedding especially on the wedding day itself. Because as women, we love getting into details! And thinking about them 👀No, no, no...
On her wedding day, a bride must be relaxed, calm and beautiful! Right??
2nd, I realized one of the things that I love to do, and that is to make beautiful moments come true. And this is why I decided to pursue this passion project.
So don't worry about your event.
