Who am I?

I started in the wedding industry in 2010.

But let’s back track a bit, I graduated Summa cm Laude with a Bachelor of Secondary Education degree major in English in Assumption College. After that, I was awarded as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines. Fresh out of college, I worked with the sixth and seventh graders of Woodrose School. I taught Reading on my first year of teaching and combined part time teaching with doing the hourly news breaks for RPN-9 on my second year. On my third year, I was given the task of Reading Subject Head of the Intermediate Department so I left the news room and focused on being an academician. The following year, they expanded my reach so my title became “English Subject Head”. That went on till I resigned after 6 years of serving Woodrose.

I started a tutorial company with some partners, and I did enjoy dealing with the kids on a more personal level. However, after getting married and experiencing problems with my own wedding, I decided to go for catharsis and became a wedding planner myself. I simply wanted to help other couples avoid what I went through with my own coordinator. On my first year as a wedding planner, perhaps, with around 5 events tucked under my belt, one of my couples insisted that I be their emcee as well. I agreed because she would not take no for an answer, and the rest, as they say is history.

After hundreds and hundreds of weddings, here I am, still at it... always with the same goal of helping couples achieve their dream weddings.
