Flores de Maria isn’t just about a celebration of an amazing tradition and tribute to the Virgin Mary. It pays homage to the Holy cross and the woman who bore the child of God.

But there is more to it, there is compassion, faith and genuine love that is exhibited in the totality of this celebration, and i have felt it, i have seen it, it’s real, undisputed and it is beautiful. A roller coaster of emotions, personality, character in countless walks of life, a spatter of all of it, united for a single prupose, to celebrate life’s beauty and it’s blessings.

Just as Mary faced so much adversities and struggles before, during and after giving birth to the child of God, Jesus Christ.

This journey of our Rosa Mystica 2024, Keith Weiceil Navarro Bandillo was not as common as the other previous ladies who portrayed or represented the Mystical Rose, Mary. She and her family had their fair share of struggles which they successfully surpassed all throughout her course as the Rosa Mystica.

Behind the beautiful photos and huge smiles drawn on their faces, a typhoon struck on the very same day of the Diskurso, Misa Cantada and supposed Grand Procession. Yet it all ended up beautifully despite the very unfavorable weather. Such dedication, patience and resilience shown, portrayed and executed gracefully by our Rosa Mystica, and her very supportive family as well as everyone behind the success of the entirety of this Flores De Maria event.

Ms. Keith Weicel Navarro Bandillo poised and looking radiant wearing a fully beaded modernized Filipiniana gown crafted to perfection by a renowned couturier named Jeffrey Tope, aback this beautiful lady is the newly restored La Resurreccion parish Church of Victoria (Diocese of San Pablo).

Rosa Mystica, which translates to “Mystical Rose” in Latin, represents Mary as the epitome of beauty, grace, and purity. The rose, a flower known for its captivating fragrance and vibrant petals, has long been associated with love and beauty. In Christian tradition, the rose is often seen as a symbol of divine love and the flourishing of spiritual life. ©️Sherry
