A SERENDIPITOUS ENCOUNTER 🌅

A resident from Baybay, Leyte captured this breathtaking sunset as it gracefully descended below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow upon the ocean waves and a group of individuals aboard a boat in the Camotes Sea.

Alumnus Mathew Santiago was casually strolling with his wife and two kids around Visayas State University when he decided to photograph the sunset.

"'Yung goal ko lang no'ng time na 'yun ay makuha 'yung moment na 'yung sun ay nakapatong lang talaga sa dagat. Tapos napansin ko 'yung isang banka parang papasok sa frame na kukuhaan ko kaya tyinempohan ko na lang din," he told The Philippine STAR.

Santiago added that the serendipitous encounter amazed him.

"I suggest other to take time to appreciate God's masterpiece together with their family. Kahit sandali lang," he said.
