Some drawings on random paint strokes.
I used to do a lot of "palette doodles", which was just some drawings that i did on my leftover paint palette that i scraped off after a painting session. Kinda like the opposite of a coloring book, since it'd have the colors first and then i'd draw something on top. These are something similar, since my palette is harder to scrape off lately, so after paintng i'd put whatever paint i had left on my sketchbook and try to draw anything on top.

My latest artwork, inspired by these two incredible women who have been muses to my work before. Both women are not only breathtakingly stunning, but also immensely talented artists in their own right, with a mastery of technical skill that continues to amaze me. I am endlessly fortunate to have met one of them in person, and to have even received an inspirational video from the other about my artwork for them. (Both moments I’ll always cherish). Their kindness and creativity mean a lot to me. I’m also lucky that they’re friends, which gives me wonderful moments of them together to admire and draw inspiration from. Their friendship and artistry inspire me, and I’m grateful for the bliss they bring into the world, and into my art.

Drawings i made for my character's backstory in D&D, 2 years ago. He is a rock-gnome, pirate, and alcoholic, named Stumbleduck. As a child, he was a stow-away and last, remaining survivor from the "Peg-legged Mermaid" ship, where his father served as the Quartermaster. He eventually manages to exterminate the pirates that killed his father and avenge his fellow crewmates of the "Peg-legged Mermaid".

I recently revisited my favorite photo of my grandfather and me, and I felt inspired to capture it in art, as an honor to him. I vividly remember that moment: he suddenly grabbed my arm, pretending to fall, just to make me laugh. My mom was lucky to have her camera in hand to snap that joyful memory. Lolo Mingoy always knew how to bring light and laughter into any moment, and he continues to inspire me every day, even after he passed earlier this year. People often tell me how similar we look, and I only hope to embody his character, similarly too. Missing you always, lolo Mingoy.

Got some of my old artworks exhibited at my alma mater, De La Salle College of St. Benilde (Design and Arts Campus), as a part of the 25th anniversary of the Multimedia Arts program, which was the course i graduated in! Incredibly grateful for them to let me showcase my art here, since i wouldnt be the artist i am today without my MMA degree (no, not mixed martial arts). Was also very happy to see my former profs and friends there, and reminisce the trauma endured 😊 if youre an alumnus, then go and check it out! If not, then apply to Benilde and become one!!
