As a wedding professional, I've seen my fair share of beautiful brides and stunning gowns. But every so often, I encounter something truly special, something that makes my heart swell with pride and admiration. And that's exactly what happened with one of my recent brides, Patricia aka "Patis".
I'm still buzzing from the sheer inspiration of it all! This incredible woman didn't just wear a wedding gown, she created it. Yes, you read that right! She designed and made her own bridal gown. How absolutely amazing is that?!
In a world where we're often told to buy, buy, buy, this bride, as a couturier herself, took on the challenge and made her own gown and gowns of some of the extraordinary ladies in attendance. She poured her heart, soul, and incredible talent into crafting several gowns that were unique and perfect reflections of each of their personality and style. Talk about dedication, creativity, and pure artistry!
Taken from the Groom's thank you speech, I would like to quote Third Garcia: "thank you for coming to Patis' fashion show." That day seemed like this bride's fashion show as she dressed not just herself but the bridal party, the Moms, and some guests. Job well done!
And, Of course, I was so honored to be a big part of her wedding. Being able to witness her vision come to life was truly genuinely inspiring. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of such a special day.
It's not every day you meet a bride who is also her wedding gown designer. Her gown story will always be amazing and I will never forget her! Congratulations again, Patis! Love you!
