From there she has hosted various types of events from social gatherings to corporate events. On November 18, 2021, she was invited as a Guest Speaker for the webinar series of the Hotel and Restaurant Management students of Far Eastern University Manila with the topic “Practicing Good Com

munication Skills and Tips on How to be an Effective Host”. Her passion for hosting has brought her to Pampanga, Bataan, and Taguig & Makati. Currently based in Pampanga, she also caters to out of town events.

Took a hiatus earlier this year and had some time to reflect on what to do, what not to do, and what to do next.

Grateful for the people who came, who left, and most of all to the people who stayed. 🤝

Grateful for every work opportunity that came and grateful for the rejections which redirected me to what was meant for me. 💕

God’s timing is perfect. Always. 😌

When I first started hosting in 2018,
my professional fee was only PHP 2,000.
Some even paid me PHP 1,500.
And that's okay.
I was a newbie.

The hosting experience I had in my belt that time were the times I was a commentator during the Holy Mass or the times I hosted at school events in Mary Help of Christians School, Inc.

I even wrote out my script like they do in roleplays!
I was 13 years old when I started holding the mic at school.

I was 20 years old when I started events hosting as a side hustle while I had a day job in the corporate world.

I was 25 years old when I decided to pursue hosting, coordination and events full time.

It is where my heart belongs.

God is so good.
From 2018 up until now, I am here.
I am still here in the events industry.

Who would have thought I would still be here?
Who would have thought I would do this full time and enjoy it?

How is it so far?
Running a small business is hard.
It's messy.
It's frustrating.

It will test you to your core in ways you can never imagine.

It will tempt you to quit.
All. The. Time.

I found this list of events (photo below) I had in 2018 and it brought me to tears.

"Look how far you have come."
I thought to myself.

"Keep going!"
