Halang vinegar started as a family recipe back in 1999 and was improved over time to get the best taste as a ‘sawsawan’ for many Filipino foods such as Lumpia, crispy pata, chicharon, tapsilog, etc. It’s popularity has grown in the neighborhood with its unique combination of spiciness and pint of sweetness that every Juan loves! Halang - a Visayan term for ‘Spicy’ / ‘Maanghang’, is made of locally sourced vinegar from Zamboanga. Combined with special spices and love to enjoy Filipino food, was the start of now known as Bing’s Halang Vinegar!
