India's Election Commissioner 'TN Seshan' visited a garden on the way with his family during his visit to Uttar Pradesh. His wife saw the birds' nests in the garden's trees and asked them to make a nest to decorate the house. The Commissioner told the cowherd standing before him that he would give a hundred rupees for a nest. The boy flatly denied that he had offered a thousand rupees, but the goatherd said that he would provide lakhs, but I will not remove the nest. The commissioner told his guard to forcibly remove the girl. When the boy was forced, he said that these are not nests, but the houses of innocent birds of my country. Now the birds have gone out for fresh water. If they come back, they will not see their nests and chicks. Do you think what will happen to them?
Even if you kill me, I will never take down the nest.
After his return, TH Seshan was often sad about this and thought that even though he was an ICS officer, why did he not have the thought, love, spirit, love and affection of a cowherd in his heart? And it was in the mind. Seshan was so troubled that he resigned and started doing humanitarian work.
Education, social status and mockery are not the standard of humanity. Merely acquiring and retaining a lot of information is not called knowledge. Knowledge is that in which you have a sense of the presence of people, animals, birds, environment, trees and their sufferings around you!!
انڊيا جو اليڪشن ڪمشنر ‘ٽي اين سيشان’ پنهنجي فيملي سان اتر پرديش جي دوري دوران رستي تي هڪ باغ ۾ گھمڻ ويو ته باغ جي وڻن ۾ پکين جا آکيرا ڏسي سندس زال فرمائش ڪئي ته هڪ آکيرو لهرائي ڏيو ته گهر ۾ ڊيڪوريشن طور لڳايان. ڪمشنر صاحب سامهون بيٺل ٻڪرار کي چيو ته هڪ آکيرو لاهي ڏي سئو روپيا ڏيندو سانء. نينگر صاف انڪار ڪيو ته هن هزار روپين جي آفر ڪئي پر ٻڪرار چيو ته لک به ڏين پر آء آکيرو نه لاهيندس. ڪمشنر صاحب پنهنجي گارڊ کي چيو ڇوڪري کان زبردستي آکيرو لهرايو . جڏهن نينگر تي زور زبردستي ڪئي وئي ته هن چيو ته هي آکيرا نه پر منهنجي ڏيھ جي معصوم پکين جا گهر آهن ، هينئر پکي داڻي پاڻي لاء ٻاهر ويل آهن، واپس ورندا ته پنهنجا آکيرا ۽ ٻچا نه ڏسي انهن تي ڇا گذرندي اهو سوچيو اٿو؟
اوهان ماري به ڇڏيو تڏهن به آء ڪڏهن به آکيرو نه لاهيندس.
ٽي ايچ سيشان واپس اچڻ کان پوء اڪثر انهي ڳالھ تي اداس رهندو هيو ۽ سوچيندو هيو ته هڪ آئي سي ايس آفيسر هوندي به سندس ۾ اها سوچ، لوچ، پريت، وطن جي اڪير، محبت ۽ مودت ڇو نه پيدا ٿي جيڪا هڪ ٻڪرار جي دل ۽ دماغ ۾ هئي. سيشان کي اندر جي اٻ ايڏو تنگ ڪيو جو هن استعفا ڏيئي انساني ڀلائي جا ڪم ڪرڻ شروع ڪري ڏنا.
تعليم، سماجي رتبو ۽ ٺٺ ٺانگر انسانيت جو معيار ڪونهي . محض گهڻي معلومات وٺڻ ۽ رکڻ کي علم ڪون چوندا آهن . علم اهو آهي جنهن ۾ اوهانکي اوهانجي اردگرد رهندڙ انسانن، جانورن، پرند چرند، ماحول، وڻن ٽڻن جي موجودگي، انهن جي ڏکن ڏوجهرن جو به احساس هجي۔۔!!
