2nd Edition of Sindh Games Position Holders Award Ceremony at Hyderabad.

The SGA Awards Honored male and female athletes, officials and sports journalists of Hyderabad Region who have excelled in Sindh Games.

The second edition of Sindh Games Position Holders Award Ceremony organized by Sindh Games Association was held at Indus Hotel Hyderabad in which 124 medal-winning players and officials for Hyderabad Region have distributed the awards.

Chief Guests of the function were Additional IG Police Hyderabad Region Dr Jamil Ahmad Khan and Chairman Hero Motorcycle Seth Asad Barkat and President Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders Saleem-ud-Din Qureshi graced the occasion as Additional Guest.

Addressing the participants of the function, Dr. jamil Ahmed said that having a healthy mind is very important for a healthy body. Special attention is paid to sports all over the world but the youth do not realize its importance. There is no shortage of talent. The Sindh Games Association has taken a good step by encouraging the players and officials to perform. He said that he has been participating in various sports since his childhood and his doors are open to the youth.

Guest of Honor Saleem-ud-Din Qureshi said that in any society where playgrounds are inhabited, hospitals will be deserted. We want to provide maximum opportunities to the youth, said Mudassar Arain, President, Sindh Games Association. He said that Sindh Games have been held 17 times since 1986 but it was functional Our association wants to educate the young players up to the grass-root level. He said that after Karachi and Hyderabad ceremonies, the next events would be held on January 20 in Mirpur Khas. Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad and Sukkur will also be held. And in January, an athletics meet will be held in Hyderabad.

Lifetime Achievement Award is given by Prof. Muhammad Akram Ansari, Ghaffar Rajput, Naeem Khan, Dr. Ahmed Haider. , Saleem Khan and Mukhtar Bhatti while Masood Akhtar Arain, Mir Ehsan Talpur, Rehan Khanzada, Ayesha Razzaq Arain, Rehana Bhatti, Habib Kausar, Saleem Wasti, Shams-ul-Afeen, Muhammad Afzal, Shabnam Sarwat Arai. Khaliq-ul-Zaman, Hassan Ali Arain, Sarwat Arain were given the Appreciation Awards.
Sports Journalist Haroon Arain, Furqan Rajput, Senior Journalists Nasir Sheikh, Akram Shahid. Nadeem Khawar, Farhan Ahmed, Umeer Rajput, Imran Saeed, Shahid Ansari and others were presented the sports appreciation awards.

President Mudassar Arain presented Sindhi cap, Ajrak and Commemorative Shields to the distinguished guests. Naeem Khan, Syed Israr Ahmed, Karima Bano, Nisha Sultan, Areeb Hussain and Amir Kifayat acted as directors.

Sindh Games Position Holders Awards Ceremony for Hyderabad Region will be held on Saturday, December 26 in Hyderabad.

Karachi ( ) The award ceremony for the players and officials of Hyderabad Region who have secured positions in the Sindh Games and the Sports Journalist Award will also be held by the Sindh Games Association in Hyderabad on Saturday, December 26 in which various sports related. Hyderabad Awards will be given to 124 players and officials and in addition, awards will be given to sports journalists.

Yesterday, Sindh Games Association President Mudassar Razzaq Arain said that the Sindh Games Association had announced to distribute awards among the players who secured positions in the last 17 Sindh Games, on which 509 players and officials from all over Sindh registered online. In all these games, awards are being distributed to encourage gold, silver and bronze medal winning players.

In this regard, the first ceremony has been held in Karachi in which awards have been given to 118 players, officials and sports journalist. All arrangements for the event have been completed. This will be followed by a function in Mirpur Khas in January, followed by Larkana, Sukkur and Benazirabad.

All players and officials have been informed that entry will not be possible without registration card and SOPs of COVID-19 have been made mandatory and entry is prohibited even without it.

Sindh Games Association Hyderabad Region
Masood Akhtar Arain, Rehan Khanzada and Saleem Wasti elected President, Secretary-General and Treasurer respectively.
A meeting of the General Body of Sindh Games Association Hyderabad was held at Latifabad in which all the registered members participated.

In the meeting, Sindh Games Association Hyderabad Region officials were unanimously elected for a term of two years in which the listed members were elected to various posts.

Masood Akhtar Arain (President), Mir Ehsan Ali Khan Talpur (Senior Vice President), Shamsul Arif, Mahmood Akhtar Khan, Habib Kausar, Javed Ahmed Sheikh, Rehana Bhatti, Shabnam Ara (Vice Presidents), Rehan Khanzada (Secretary-General), Ayesha Arain (Associate Secretary), Amir Kifayat (Joint Secretary and Information Secretary), Saleem Wasti (Treasurer), Sarwat Arain, Abdul Samad, Samad Masood, Khaliq-ul-Zaman (Member Executive Committee). Ghufran Ali Rajput was also nominated as Special Advisor.

The President of Sindh Games Association Mudassar Arain also attended the meeting and congratulated the newly elected officials and expressed his best wishes.

It was unanimously agreed in the meeting that Sindh Games Position Holders Award Ceremony would be held soon in which awards would be given to the players belonging to Hyderabad and an oath-taking ceremony would also be held at the same ceremony in which all the members were sworn in.
The meeting also approved to hold Hyderabad Games in January 2021

Karachi Open Archery Championship 2020 wrapped up at Champion Archery Academy in Karachi which was organized by DMC Central Cultural and Sports Association
in collaboration with
Sindh Archery Association, Sindh Games Association and District Central Archery Association, Karachi.

After intense competition, host Champion Archery Academy emerged as the overall winner of Karachi Open Archery Championship with 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 bronze medal.

In Sub Junior Girls category, Nabihah jamal of Champion Archery Academy secured first position while Sarah of D.C.T.O Liyari won second spot and Bashair of host academy grabbed third place.

Meanwhile, Talha from Champion Archery Academy, claimed the first position in the Sub Junior Boy's competition while Shahmeer of same academy bagged second place and Abdul Reman Mir of Ba Kaman secured third position.

Director DMC Central, Mr Akbar Hussain graced the Opening Ceremony as a chief guest and Mr. Mudassir Razzaq Arain, President Sindh Games Association was Chief Guest in Closing Ceremony and distributed prizes among the winners.

Sindh Games Sports Journaist Award Ceremony.

KARACHI: The First Ever SGA Sports Journaist award ceremony was held at the Merriot Hotel Karachi for the Karachi Region.

The 19 sports journalists Obaid Awan, Reshad Mahmood, Irshad Ali, Nadira Mushtaq Syed, Shakeel Yamin Kanga, Aibadullah, Ali Hassan, Mahmood Riaz, Zahid Ghaffar. Imran Sad Yaqi, Ishaq Baloch, Badi-uz-Zaman, Ehsan Khan, Zeeshan Khan, Khidr Ahmed and Raees Khan we're honored with the award, along with Guinness Book of World Records holders Fatima Nasreen and Mohammad Rashid.

Mrs. Syma Nadeem, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination(IPC)/ Sports, Government of Pakistan was the chief guest and distributed the award among the Best Sports Journalists.
