آج پاکستان کے بے مثال، ہر دلعزیز اور ہمہ جہت فنکار معین اختر مرحوم کی برسی ہے۔ وہ فنِ اداکاری کے ایسے درخشاں ستارے تھے جنہوں نے نہ صرف مزاح میں اپنی انفرادیت قائم رکھی بلکہ سنجیدہ کرداروں میں بھی اپنی صلاحیتوں کا لوہا منوایا۔

معین اختر کو پیروڈی کے فن میں یدِ طولیٰ حاصل تھا۔ ان کی یہ مہارت اس وقت سب پر آشکار ہوئی جب ایک ٹی وی پروگرام میں انہوں نے لیجنڈری بھارتی اداکار دلیپ کمار کے سامنے انہی کی پیروڈی کی۔ دلیپ کمار خود بھی اُن کی اداکاری سے بے حد محظوظ ہوئے، اور معین اختر کی فنی جرات و مہارت کے معترف دکھائی دیے۔

ایسی ہی ایک اور یادگار مثال اُس وقت سامنے آئی جب معین اختر نے فلمی دنیا کے شہنشاہ، محمد علی صاحب کے روبرو ان کی پیروڈی کی۔ محمد علی نہ صرف کھڑے ہوکر تالیوں سے داد دینے لگے بلکہ انہوں نے محبت سے معین اختر کا ماتھا چوم کر اُنہیں بھرپور خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا۔

معین اختر کی مقصود انور کے ساتھ اسکرین کیمسٹری، الن و ننھا کی جوڑی کی طرح مقبول ہوئی۔ اُنہوں نے ملک کے مختلف شعبہ ہائے زندگی سے تعلق رکھنے والے کرداروں کو اس قدر خوبصورتی اور باریکی سے نبھایا کہ ہر کردار، ایک یادگار داستان بن گیا۔

اگرچہ معین اختر نے فلمی دنیا میں بھی قدم رکھا، مگر بطور ہیرو وہ کامیابی حاصل نہ کرسکے۔ تاہم، اُن کا اصل میدان ٹیلی وژن رہا، جہاں اُنہوں نے اپنی خوش گفتاری، بذلہ سنجی، اور غیر معمولی صلاحیتوں کے باعث لاکھوں دلوں پر راج کیا۔

معین اختر نہ صرف ایک عظیم فنکار تھے، بلکہ ایک شائستہ، مہذب، اور بلند اخلاق انسان بھی تھے۔ اُن کی شخصیت میں عاجزی، وقار، اور تہذیب کا ایسا امتزاج تھا جو آج کے دور میں ناپید ہوتا جا رہا ہے۔

وہ چلے گئے، مگر ان کا فن، ان کی آواز، ان کی مسکراہٹ، اور ان کا خلوص ہمیشہ زندہ رہے گا۔ رہتی دنیا تک معین اختر کا نام فنی دنیا کے افق پر روشن رہے گا۔
