We’d like to invite you to the third edition of „Domoffon”, a festival of independent music, that is already well known as an event assembling audience eager for artistic sensations of the highest level, showing alternative countenance of popular music in both local and in the international aspect, including artists with great reputability (such as The Wire or The Fall from previous editions), cur
rent stars of global independent scene as well as native aces of musical avant-garde. The Festival is juxtaposition of various music genres- starting with artists with traditional, rock roots, through hip- hop squads ending with representants of classical, experimental and electronic music (with a special emphasis on techno scene). This year’s edition of the festival will last longer than previously , from 1st till 3rd of September, and, as usually, apart from musical experience, it will be a great opportunity to participate in off-site culture of it’s all variants- cinematic (open-air cinema sponsored by Vice magazine), literary (lectures, discourses and discussions presented via “Kosmopolitania”) and phonographic ( market of independent music labels). The main attraction are yet still the concerts , with their culmination point on the second day of the festival (Saturday, the 2nd of September), when 3 simultaneous music scenes will be launched (a big open-air one, club scene and techno scene).
“Domoffon” Festival will traditionally take place in Off Piotrkowska Centre- a historic, post-industrial complex dating back to the end of 19th century, currently transformed into a culture-and-gastronomy complex, grouping artists, culture animators, local activists as well as restaurant chefs able to satisfy most sophisticated culinary fantasies. Off Piotrkowska Centre is also a place where club „DOM” has its roots and been hosting its business for five years now.” DOM”, alongside with “Distorted Animals” booking agency, runs „Domoffon” Festival, being in chargé of both its organisation and the programme.
