What is this interesting event? 🤔 We hasten to answer!

🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏼‍♂️Welcome to the official fanpage of the Cracovian Congress of History Students! Here is some basic information about us:

🔹The Cracovian Congress of History Students is the idea of an international conference aimed at history students and doctoral students from variety of countries and cultures.

🔸The 1st Cracovian Congress of History Students took place 2019 and was organized by the History Student's Scientific Society (Koło Naukowe Historyków Studentów UJ), which brings together history students at the Jagiellonian University. The COVID-19 pandemic did not allow it to continue in subsequent academic years. The idea was revisited in 2023, resulting in the organization of the event in April 2024.

🔹Each edition of the congress has its own theme. In 2019, the conference was devoted to the idea of freedom and independence in the 19th century, and in 2024 it dealt with problems of colonization and decolonization.

🔸Such a great event could not have taken place if not for the organizations co-organizing the event: Student Council of the Faculty of History at the Jagiellonian University (Samorząd Studentów Wydziału Historycznego UJ) and Polish Historical Association - Branch in Krakow (Polskie Towarzystwo Historyczne Oddział Kraków).

🔹The Congress is not only an opportunity to expand knowledge and discuss issues proposed by the organizers, but also to integrate students around the world. We also take as our goal the promotion of our city - Krakow.

🔸Right now, we are working on organizing the 3rd edition of the event. Stay tuned!
