People often ask us: why don’t you open a flower shop?
It’s so tempting, and we’ve definitely considered it. But keeping flowers in stock all the time means a lot of waste — and we try to keep things as sustainable as possible.
That said, we love channelling the vibe of a flower shop in our workshops — just without the bins full of blooms at the end of the day 🤭

It’s that soft dreamy in-between season in Portugal when you spot roses rambling up walls and bougainvillea quietly bursting into colour on the side of almost every road.

This serves as a reminder of the urgent need to protect our planet and that our small and meaningful actions and choices can make an impact.

One we often talk about is floral foam. It’s still widely used in floristry, despite breaking down into harmful microplastics that pollute our oceans and threaten wildlife. But also it’s important to use seasonal flowers and from local suppliers and growers whenever possible.

We believe beauty can be more environmentally friendly.
